In House, Many Spoke With One Voice: Lobbyists’

Well this is two for one post. Both articles are about a destructive, illusive creature. It is a parasite and seems to infest all reaches of the known world. It needs a human host to exist, but it needs people in conflict to thrive. It tends to like to eat large sums of cash, but will settle for trips and swag in a pinch. If you thought that single celled organisms were the lowest forms of life on the planet, you'd be wrong. This creature has no cells, isn't even alive, and has no genetic material to speak of, unless there is an issue being funded or a view to be debunked. One week it could be for something and the next against it; it does not have any kind of allegiance. It is highly competitive and is very aggressive.
The reason I decided to tell you about this creature is that is is deadly poisonous and though it will tell you it will do your bidding, it is really just interested in getting more money. It loves money more than anything. It will lie, twist, and cheat to get money. Eventually it will kill you, as well as your adversaries, in order to get the money it wants. If the creature runs out of money to consume it simply goes dormant and waits for more money. This parasite is known to eat its' own kind and not simply because it is hungry either. The only thing that can kill this creature is truth, and I don't have to tell you how hard that is to find these days. This creature calls itself many things, but is most commonly known as a lobbyist. Be afraid, be very afraid.

LOL. Scary LOL, but LOL, nonetheless. I remember some description and it was either from Hawthorne or Dante of people who were so evil that their souls went on to Hell, and the body continued to live on Earth, typically taken over by a demon.
Do you notice that there aren't any GOOD lobbyists? Or is that just media bias?
that's a question. Are there any good ones out there?
JP, I think there probably are good lobbyists, but their job/cause in general is not really good for any of us. I think they just help this nation stay locked in the hands of an oligarchy.
